In 2021, I returned to China from Australia and started a 28-day quarantine. In the process of isolation, the interactions between people are reduced to a minimum. My aversion to enclosed space has grown over time. The remnants of my metabolic process piled up in the room. I began to think about the relationship between local identity, private space and mandatory isolation. These accumulations are constantly magnified in my mind due to the objective environment.

The air I exhaled was collected in a closed glass container, and the water vapour was condensed into small droplets on the cold glass surface. Long-term repetition allowed the creation of visible water droplets, my remnant.
